The ribeye is perhaps the most underrated of steaks.

Good God, if its a good steak, he doesn't want to put any kind of sauce on it. I would have put a bit of chili powder/red pepper on it, but that's just a personal preference.

because ribeye is immeasurably better than porterhouse.

They both have their place.

Ribeye's have more marbling which does great on the grill.

Porterhouses are much leaner and get a ton of flavor from that nice bone.

They both come out perfect if I make them.

There's more in it that that, I can look at it and see some sort of little seed things in there. Also the size of the salt flakes and the pepper grind is pretty much perfect.
