Converter isn't working for me

This is an 11 and I have no reads but I assume this player sucks by his limp/call.

Is this lunacy or standard?

you'll probably need to improve to win here as the betting looks like you're up against a small/medium pair; i'd say 55-88 somewhere in there.

most donks overvalue small pairs early on with no one in the pot with them. if it was overcards he probably would have checked the flop.

He's got to have a pair a lot of the time here right? And the guy who limp calls (however stupidly) with 66 is going to be the guy who "stupidly" busts your ass on this hand.

It looks like a small pair to me. I think its a pretty easy fold actually, very occasionally you'll see AX here but not often enough to make this play.

yah villain showed a weaker ace and I won the pot.

I figured this was moronic the second I pushed.

I would call more often than not here.

Call preflop? I am still getting the hang of playing AK/AQ early in the shallower stacked tournaments.

I'd definitely raise preflop. But, as others have said, I'd put villain precisely on any pocket pair after he bets the flop. I'd fold here almost all of the time without a read. But, then again, it's an $11, so you probably have to adjust for the retard factor (I guess it was pretty high in this hand).

I'd have pushed preflop. However, in your case it's an easy flop push.

I think at an 11 the push is much easier as to the fact that they seem to overvalue their Ax (case in point). But I sometimes tend to err on the loose side /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Uhhh...why would you push pf here? Some 11ers will limp with QQ-AA, not to mention you might get called by any pair and be slightly behind. When your going to win a measly 50 chips most of the time.

Limping is by far the worst option here, worse than folding because you will lose a LOT of chips if someone catches with a crap hand.
