Laptop + 2 monitors

I currently use one dell 2001fp with my laptop using the laptop's extra VGA slot. There are no other monitor slots on the computer, so is there a way to use another monitor?
I have one PCI I/II PCMCIA slot, can I use this to add another video card? If so, can both video cards work at the same time, or will both monitors have to be connected to the new card?

You'll need a PCMCIA video card. Both will work at the same time.

I saw a thing in a computer magazine today that let you hookup a second monitor through a USB port, it cost 99$ i think. I'll post a link when i get home tonight.
