Don't fold KK preflop ever.

Indeed. I saw someone hit quad Ks against AA yesterday. TT came along and hit a set as well, just for fun.

Same exact thing happened to me in a 22 yesterday. It was vs another 2+2er. I had KK and I knew he had AA yet I called anyway. I just couldn't fold KK preflop. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

i wouldnt be too worried about this hand too much especially against just one opponent. and if he does have AA, which yeah it looks like he might, he sure doesnt do a very good job of disguising it. KK is too good to let go here.

clearly i would have been a lot happeier to lost to AA
He is the reason i play poker he makes me money. But it was ugly

Dont ever say "gotta love party poker" again or stop posting and reading this site. You are one of "them" and should know better. There is no excuse. If KK was the nuts against 22 they wouldnt deal a flop turn and rivr.

I don’t find this gross at all, I would quite enjoy getting all my chips in with 2nd best hand preflop. I find it gross when I don’t get any action.

To answer your question, yes I do go all in, I would have personally pushed instead of raising to 400 as long as I think the player is weak.

My push would unfortunately get rid of the better players that can fold QQ and less, so if the player is stronger, your reraise might extract more chips.

Who cares if your opponent has AA, it happens, so does a smaller pair hitting a set, etc, etc. I recently had KK allin preflop with 2 other player, another KK and AA, I hit a flush:)

One more thing this does happen much more on party than anywhere else. Why because more fish and money doesnt feel real. So when i say gotta love party it doesnt mean im saying the site is fixed (cause im sure its not) But there is def going to be more suckouts as people tend to take a lot more chances online than in person. On the flip side this is part of the reason its more profitable. GOTTA LOVE PARTY...

Clearly you are retarded. I was talking about how you think its rigged and must not understand how poker works. Here is a secret...the best hand doesnt always win. This was just your way to post your bad beat. No one cares. Stop crying.

arod15

clearly this hand was about the reraise action to KK and what went through my mind gettting reraised twice. The 22 was just the ending of the story.

arod15

agreed that is why i pushed....

you play the 55s, if you think about folding this then i dont know what else to say...there is no ending needed to ask your question. This is my last post on this thread.

Just curious if folding crosses anyones mind. That is why this is a forumn to discuss. Not get mad and attack as you have. I felt sick to my stomach getting reraises as twice i figured i was gone. Did i think about folding it? Not really i wouldnt lay it down unless he showed me it. Then i got happy to see 2 2 and laugghed. Than a 2 hit and i puked and started another one and that was that.

wasnt that bad. 1-5 times it happens. it was just a little wierd. Who would have guessed 2 2. ....

When you were raised to 200, your reraise to 400 was horrible. This is where you should have pushed.

read the sng faq.

there is never a time to fold KK preflop. especially in online poker. just dont do it.

this question has been asked so many times, in so many different variations... youve just got to trust the people that have been here for a while (not talking about myself), that this isnt an interesting, fresh, or thought-provoking question.

I push after the first re-raise by villain. I don't laydown KK pre-flop -- ever. Given the chance, I would always get all-in preflop.

Statistically 22 has as good a chance at outdrawing you as QQ. Sure the guy is a fool, but you are playing poker...

arod15
07-22-2005, 03:21 PM
prob has a better chance than QQ as QQ needs a K to make a straight usually .....

junkmail3

You should be folding KK when you suspect Villian will flop a set. Period.

I did suspect he would flop one but i went against my instincts....

Re-reading this thread I realize this was a thinly disguised bad beat post. Now I wish I hadn't replied.

07-23-2005, 03:29 PM
I disagree, I most likely would have folded this. With the possible combination of him having AA and the fact that this is PP and PP clearly hates you... Sounds like an easy fold to me. I'll fold KK preflop all day.
Then again idk if you want to listen to me my ROI is -34234242%

Someone actually claimed to have folded KK from his SB, and he had me massively covered, when I pushed from the button. He said something like it was a big bet and he thought an ace would fall as nobody else had bet. God knows what the f*ck he was on about, but it made me laugh.

I have to say that in any kind of tournament situation, the only time I cringe with KK preflop is when everyone else folds.

I have no propensity to put this guy on AA even when he does the stupid reminraising you crap. It's much more likely he's an idiot, IMO, than he actually would play aces exactly this way.
