Lead flop fold to raise. Check fold turn. Blocking bet river if turn gets checked through.

Yeah, I like this best. There's a chance your hand is best, but it's not great in general, so show some strength and back down if people push back. And I also think a fold is in order facing a bet and a call, even though it becomes clear BB has nothing much.

Wondering, however, if you check raise, would more than just doubling BB's bet be good. Usually I like checkraising when I think my hand is best to 1) get more money in the pot and 2) really force my opponent to define his hand. Here your opponents call 75 into a 345 chip pot and haven't figured out whether or not your ace is better than his ace (or if you're up against a set, two pair or other shenanigans). So if I'm checkraising I'm raising about the size of the pot after the original bet, about 200.

Good thought/bad thought/pointless thought?

I only checkraised the minimum becaues my hand did kind of suck against a bet and a call and I didn't want to commit. I agree that folding pf would have been better.

I'm not sure if leading out is better than check raising though. If I lead out I'm either going to take the pot down, get called by a better hand, or get called by a draw. If it is a draw, there's a good chance that I will get semibluffed on the turn when I show so much weakness by checking, or I will give him an extra free card. You also suggest betting out because it shows strength, but I think that checkraising shows much more strength. checking first to act also gives the BB a chance to bet a weaker hand and MP2 a chance to make a position bet (this is a good spot for him to make a position bet). Checkraising lets me get more money in when I'm ahead, and be more confident about it when I'm beat. Giving a free card doesn't hurt me too much either.
