that plays better SNG's after a few drinks? My ITM% is 7% higher (35% vs 42%) when I've had 1-5 drinks vs. sober.

6+ drinks my percentage dips to 32% /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Sample size- 1391 SNGs of various levels. 964 sober, 275 1-5 drinks, 149 6+ drinks (the other three while throwing up with the flu! /images/graemlins/shocked.gif) This may not be statistically significant just yet, but it's getting there...

I'm going out on a limb and guessing I'm the only one that keeps track of this stat /images/graemlins/smirk.gif, but anyone notice any trends?

I sense an Aleo spreadsheet revision coming.

I'm very impressed you have tracked your drink amount.

Glad to see this post because it happens to me too; I also track the results and they are.........

Drink Intake.......Skill Level Increase
1 - 3............ 10 %
4 - 6............ 25 %
7 - 11........... 50 %
> than 11........ asymptoticially approach infinity

So, you win every single SnG when your BAC is above .5%? You should try that.

I don't recall my BAC ever being below .5%

I always drink and play... Normally just casual but sometimes I will dominate NL25 wasted when I come back from a bar or party.

Dude, props for adverbising asymptote.

Speaking seriously though, these statistics really don't surprise me a bit. I play pretty well with a few drinks in me. For me, I think it comes from the fact that when slightly buzzed I don't puss out of pushing hands I know I should but am just a bit too nervous to while totally sober. 6+, however, and you start to play A9 soooted in level 1 in the CO.

It's an estimate- I actually have a column in my spreadsheet for how I'm feeling, then the drinks are estimated- N for no drinks, ss for semi-sober (1-2 drinks) B for buzzin' (3-5), D for drunk (6-9) and H for, yup, Hammered (10+). Man, I'm thirsty...

When I drink, I start LAGGING big time. +EV in tournaments. -EV in ring games.
