Consecutive hands in a $25+2 stars turbo....

I've moved to the turbo's recently from the slow, 'high ceiling' /images/graemlins/wink.gif play on the 6-seaters. I'm looking for a sanity check for both my push...and thier call decisions. Baring a leak, my pushes feel correct - likewise, I'm personally not thrilled about either of thier calls (maybe the lader, considering a possible 'tilt' push by me). What do you think?

Hand #1:

I really doubt I can fold JTo, unless opponent really doesn't like me.

Folding the second hand is a crime against poker.

I think I'm confused by your response. In the first one, he limped, I pushed JT.............

In the second, I'm more interested to know if you call my push w/ QJo for all your chips on the bubble....is this close?

I don't like the AI in the first hand nor the call. What is your table image and any reads on the sb?

I like the second hand, not much more you could do. I believe the BB calls this cause you went AI on the last hand with J10o.

Woops... Yeah. I misread, thought you made a standard SB push. And I'm not letting Villain see a flop/bet out on me here. Push preflop first one.

QJo is a loose call, to say the least. Against most opponents, I think it's a fold, but 4x BB means you're calling a lot more, plus you are pushing very near any 2...

I think I make that call against a laggy opponent, and I think it's correct.

I'd only shown (played, I think) down 3 hands....AA, QQ, AK - all winners. I'd just become big dog - was my first steal /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Second one....yeah, I don't hate the QJ call, he only had 3 BB left himself....

The first I think your exagerating your chip lead. This isn't the case of an extremely small stack that is about to bust. I find this almost impossible to do at the 20s anyway. Fold.

Calling with QJo is certainly correct here. It is probably correct to push with any two (as long as the villian will fold ~60% of his hands), and that makes this hand just too good to throw away. Much to strong to fold when a good player moves all in with 4 BB left. It would be a different story if you were a timid, poor playing bubble player who threw away far too many hands but not here.

Why risk a call on risk 60% of your stack on a steal to get 400?

Why not raise it 3-4BBs and pop again on a safe flop?

Because t600 is 12% of your stack and a full fifth of BB's stack?
