How come when I open a thread it doesnt start me at the top of the thr

i click showall on a thread and it scrolls like way the [censored] down. why doesnt it start at the top?

I have the same issue. Drives me nuts. It has nothing to do with whether I've read the thread. Sometimes it just gets in this mode where it remembers where I was in one thread but not another.

That and occasional add server timeouts and very slow loading are making this one of the hardest forums to use and I've been a participant in many of them.
