after a bunch of questions . . .
.
.
.
Is it black?
Can it run fast?
Can it carry people?
I'm guessing it's a ninja?

Thank you, Internet. (No, it wasn't a ninja.)

And, in a related vein, a joke.

Two guys sit down for a game of 20 questions. The first guy decides that the object in question will be a moose cock. The game proceeds as follows:
"Is it big?"
"Yeah, I'd say it's pretty big."
"Can you eat it?"
"Umm. . . sure, I guess you could eat it."
"Is it a moose cock?"

I'll be here all week.

You were thinking of a firefighter.
Can it growl? You said Yes, I say No.
Is it brown? You said Sometimes, I say No.
Would you use it in the dark? You said No, I say Yes.
Is it small? You said Sometimes, I say No.
Can you play with it? You said Sometimes, I say No.
Is it black? You said Sometimes, I say No.

Apparently the "A.I." feels threatened by the prospect of a black firefighter.

Never seen it. Did they use that joke on the Office? I heard it 4 years ago, and it was in a crowd that I don't think watches too much British television. Looking at imdb, the timescales are such that it's possible that this was in fact the source, but I'd be surprised, given that I don't think it was heard of very much in the States back in 2001.

Maybe I cheated a little, but I picked Rocket Booster. It guessed rocket, missile, space shuttle, and all kinds of close stuff, which I guess I should've counted as right, but it couldn't get it. Then, when it asks what you're thinking of at the end, I put in Rocket Booster and it gives a list of things in its database. On the list of things it thought might match "Rocket Booster" were "baked potato" and "featherduster", among other ridiculous things I can't think of now.

What's the point? I guess there isn't one. I just liked that it had baked potato near the top of the list. I can't think of even one of the answers I gave that a baked potato would have in common with a rocket booster. At what point could you ever conceivably say "it's either a rocket booster... or... a potato"?

Is it a common household object? You said Yes, I say No.
Is it used in a game? You said Sometimes, I say No.

Contradictions Detected

The opinions of the game are its own and are based on the input of people playing the game. It does not matter if our answers disagree, as over time the game will change its answers to reflect common knowledge. If you feel that the game is in error, the only way to fix it is to play again.

Pretty damn cool. The first time I played, I was thinking of a "steal I-beam" It didn't even come close.
