33 1st hand. I reraised to find out where I was, he seemed serious enough, so I folded. Anyone have an alternative line that works?

If I'm going to reraise, I probably reraise slightly more, maybe 125-150. I think calling for set/overpair value isn't terrible, and might be preferable here, because with your position you're going to need to either c-bet or check/fold lots of flops, and that's a hefty portion of stack to give up this early. As is, you're pretty clearly done with the hand when your repop gets called by UTG and another raise comes around.

I like calling for set value.

There are two limpers in who are likely to overcall if you call. BB might call, but we'll even assume he won't. Then you're looking at putting 45 in to a probable pot of 235. You're getting 5.5:1 direct odds in that case, which is quite high. The implied odds of spiking a set, plus the times when TT will be an overpair to the board and probably the best hand and the easiness of getting away from overcard flops, mean that this should be at least a call.

ill agree this is reasonable, but would not agree if there were no limpers in first

HU against a raise from the button, it'd be a lot better reraise then, and I probably do that. Here, calling for set value seems very solid, and doesn't leave yourself open to a reraise from a guy who shows strength.

He did.

Also, I limp with this and play it for set value this early. Just my $.02. If you're going to raise after the limpers, raise it a bit more, probably to t75 or so.

He's not gonna fold PF getting 3:1, he's announced he's got a legit hand with his post-limper raise, and you're not going to know where you stand around 2/3 of the time OOP, so why reraise?

Call and hit a set.
