Must have been shitfaced or something. Only way I could see someone playing like that.

I haven't done something quite this bad before, but I did check the nut boat through on all streets.

Villain probably wasn't paying attention.

Villain's play is pathetic, though hopefully planning a river check-raise.

Villain read you perfectly and knew his only chance to make another BB off of you was by you bluff betting the river.

If he read Hero correctly then he would know that Hero would not bet the river with an unimproved AK.

He read hero's hand 100% perfectly and predicted hero not calling a river bet on an obviously scary board where AK is obviously not winning the pot by calling a bet on the river. Therefore, he checked hoping hero would bluff.

NH villain.

I think that you are giving this random guy way too much credit. More likely he just wasn't paying attention.

And even if you're correct, he only read Hero's hand correctly, but not Hero himself.

I can hear it now:

If I'da bet that you'da folded..I was going to check raise the river

But seriously, would you have called a flop or turn raise?

yesterday I bet my trips on the end and some guy overcalled with the nuts (KQ for the total nuts straight) no flush or pair on board.

I was so pissed.. but happy that I didnt throw in 1 or 2 more bets /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
