these things are so short that whenever i have aces, my intent is to get all of my chips to the middle of the table by the flop. i dunno though, this could be a leak (albeit a small one).

I think you have MP2 beat here I can't see him leading out betting the Q. I'd say he's on the flush or straight draw or possibly the T. But MP3 has to have you beat with a Q.

Interesting thing to look at here is that if you fold you have t675. If you call and have MP2 beat you will get t520 back. I still fold but I hate folding AA.

What level do you play?

On this particular hand, I think it matters a lot.

I like you. This was my exact line of thinking.

With the blinds at that level, I felt I still felt I had plenty of time.

I think MP2 has a flush draw

I think MP3 has the Queen (maybe a T - depending on buyin).

Too tired to think of how to do the math for this, but I don't like this situation. There is a sidepot to consider. If it was just you to call, I'd call quickly.

Cancel my call vote. I didn't realize there was a caller in front of you (didn't read replies until after I voted).

I would call. The one guy who opens allin for 800 almost never has a queen. The guy who calls allin for 400 into a ginormous pot with 1000 1200+ chips in it doesn't need a freaking queen. Plenty of idiots on PP will do that with 66.

If you beat the guy with 800 you have almost as many chips as if you were to just fold, combined with the chance that you are winning now, I think it's an easy call.

I think you should play your AA here.

If MP3 had more chips he was calling off then perhaps I'd *consider* folding.

Curtains is right. I didn't think about this before. It's a call, no question.

MP3 has too few chips to be sure he has a Q. I'd think he would make this call with JJ, KK, AT, KT, JK, two clubs, and maybe AK. You are ahead of MP2 the vast majority of the time, as others have said. The sidepot is even greater insurance in the event that MP3 has you beat. Call.

edit ^^^ yeah, that's frustrating /images/graemlins/shocked.gif
