Implied odds I think make this an OK call. I had to get 1 BB out of him, pretty sure that's not unreasonable.

If I'm playing this hand past the flop, I'm looking for an alternative way of winning besides the showdown. Sometimes you can check/raise villain on the flop or turn here and improve your equity. I don't think he's going anywhere here, however.

He only needs to make 1 BB extra, and with villain's early preflop raise and an ace on board, the chance for at least 3 BB more (2 from check-raising the turn and 1 at the river) is very, very good.

We even have a backdoor flush draw, so I'd call one small bet on the flop without hesitation.
