I woke up at around 5am today because my dog started barking at the Police across the street.

They were parked outside a house that's somewhat kitty-corner to mine, shouting a bunch of gibberish on the loudspeaker to someone holed up inside.

The dog continued to go crazy, my wife got up to watch, I tried to sleep through it.

There was some more shouting, a news van, a helicopter, and eventually probably 30-35 rounds fired, though I'm not sure how many were from the police and how many were from whoever was inside.

I'll be checking the news and post a link if I can find one.

Stoopid gunfire keeping me from my beauty sleep....

Meh, it was just a meth lab.

And I guess it was tear gas, not bullets.

I can't belive there would be a meth lab in the Mt. Tabor neighborhood. There are much cheaper neighborhoods to house them!

As an added bonus, if anyone remembers my squirrel post, this was the house two doors down from the one where that dead squirrel ended up.

Is that anything like being catty-cornered?
