i rode in a cab with a date, and she paid the cab (i had paid for dinner). it was a nice gesture, but she gave the cabbie $10 on a $9.05 meter. that's pretty stingy, right?

i think a buck is standard, no?? so if the change is under $0.70 then I'll give them an extra buck, like $xx.35.
Basically, the better the driver the better the tip, if he's able to catch the next set of cars w/out catching a red, passes cars while driving in the bike lane, goes when it's yellow, stuff like that gets $2 tip.
Some idiot who can't find 50th and Madison deserves nothing.
