I quess here is some thread about this, but i didint find it by search, so if anyone have a link please share it /images/graemlins/smile.gif
Anyway so far i have played 50 small($10, $20, $30) NL 1on1 sngs and seen some amazing bad playing. i.e folding with blind over half of stack. So far average length have been 10mins, so i could play 6/hour. So I believ i could do some decent money by playing these. Now im wondering what kind of edge(maybe ROI is the word?) does a good player have. And how big bankroll do i need, is 30 times buyin enough?
All help/comments appreciate!

I dont know if this stupid subject or just asked too many times, but i sitll would like to know at least link to thread of 1on1 SNG:s, coz i cant find it.
Take this from a noob.... but..
Heads up tourneys have MUCH higher variance than 10 man sitngos... If you feel comfortable w/ 30 buyins for sitngos then 60 buy ins for heads up play should be good (i'm pulling this number out of thin air)
However now that i think about it, the standard deviation would be <1 becaus either you win 1 buy in or lose 1 buy in... My intuition tells me the variance would be higher, buy the numbers say otherwise, someone help me out here?

I think 60 is little too much(can it really be?) for 1on1 in lowlimit games, coz i think im so better then my opponents. Also ive never had 30buyins for 10seat sngs.. and never been busted neither.

Yet.. /images/graemlins/wink.gif
The thing I don't like about headsup tourneys is the rake kills you.
It's a much greater proportion of your winnings than it is for a 10 seat game.
Unless you are that much better at headsup than getting to the money in the first place..

I have a few hundered at $50 and $100. They are hugely profitable per hr because they are so quick. I am at just over 60% on 100s and a little more at 50s which my gut tells me is OK, but could be better. I suspect a really good player could achieve close to 70% win rate at these levels. No idea about lower limits I'm afraid, but maybe even higher than 70 is possible (though I doubt it).
If you have any excel skills you can run a very simple spreadsheet to work out your risk of ruin on different BRs by different win rates.
