I'm wondering if I should adjust my play here or if I should just chalk these up to getting rivered.

Bisons is going really slow and taking forever with this second hand for some reason. Typed manually.
HERO UTG with A3s (clubs) calls
folds around
Villian(SB) raises to $1
BB and I call
flop [3h 8s Ad]
villian bets 2, BB folds, hero raises to 4, villian calls
turn [5d]
villian checks, hero bets 5, villian calls
river [qc]
villian checks, hero bets 1.55, villian calls 1.55(all-in)

final pot $22.9

In my own analysis I probably should've pushed on the turn in the first hand. In the second hand I didn't push turn since villian had such a small stack, I figured he'd just push against a $5 bet -- not that it matters, neither of us was going to fold the river for 1.55

You need to be more agressive overall, and I'd bet out that first flop.

I was rivered in both cases, the four and the queen gave the other two people two pair of their own (with aces being the other pair).

Anymore discussion?

Those weak turn bets, especially with a backdoor flush draw, are . . . um . . . weak.

Hand 1: Push the turn.
