Check out the Seattle Times Article Delgado & Sexson (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/sports/2002102043_mari27.html)


Sexson is coming off of mayor surgery. Getting big bats is ok but that is not a cure all. The other side of the coin is pitching, not to mention defense.

What's others take on this. I'm not sold on this being the best move. Maybe they should dump Boone for...?

Boone can't be dumped, his salary is to much. I don't like the moves that much, I think Beltre is the better move.

They're not even talking about him, which is stupid. God the front office sucks.

yes they do, they seem to like aging vets more than anything else, again.

Beltran won't be in Seattle for several reasons.

- Seattle won't make a deal or provide leverage for his agent to screw the Yankees for more money.
- Seattle is fairly cold for a Latin born player.
- Seattle has slightly more Latin population than nil.
- Seattle has almost no endorsment market unless your name is Edgar.
