While I agree this was a serious incident, I think the whole thing has been blown way out of proportion. It's a public relations nightmare for the NBA to be sure but after all no one was killed or seriously hurt.
I say this as I think back one short month ago when a female Red Sox fan who was really just an innocent bystander was killed during the fan riots in Boston. That tragedy didn't receive one tenth the attention this thing is getting.
