Dear Players,

I'm interested in your "gut" feeling about the following

question:

which game,in general,is more difficult to beat as the limits in both games increase. For example,is 20-40 stud more difficult to beat than 20-40 hol'em? What about 75-150 stud vs 75-150 hol'em?

I'm going to answer a slightly different question. It is a little more difficult to become a stud expert than it is a hold 'em expert.

This is only from my personal experience, so take that into consideration.

I find that at the middle limits, the holdem games are softer in general, but at limits like 75-150, stud is definitely the better game for a few reasons. First and maybe most importantly, holdem games rarely get spread at these limits from what I've seen, while stud games are quite prevalent.

Dear George,

Thanks for your I/P

. I need you to define "soft" with respect to stud and hol'em. I do not know what a "soft game" is?
