Has anyone ever found one of his "Big Denny" columns funny? Ever? I'm serious.

If so, were you under the influence of any narcotic or psychotropic chemicals? And what other things do you find amusing? [eg. drowning puppies or genital herpes]

His columns are terrible. I've thought about writing to Cardplayer several times and complaining about them being put in.

I absolutely think his articles are funny. I also think that narcotic and psychotropic chemicals are good for you. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Max hasn't been funny since 1933...but you know the one I can't stand?

That old fart who always starts his columns with a food reference...you know....

"Hi. come on in. I'm just making a cow tongue and brocolli sandwich. Pull up a seat."

That guy.

ARGGHHHH

Drives me crazy.

Yeah, Roy West I think. Cheesy as hell.

Max Shapiro has never made me laugh or even smile once. This guy reminds me of some kind of unfunny uncle who comes over on Thanksgiving and won't stop with the old Borscht Belt routines he remembers from the 20's...and doesn't know how to tell the jokes himself or have any idea what's funny. You know the kind -- the one who wants to bring the conversation to a screeching stop to tell everyone the latest pun it made him think of.

I find max shapiro to be hilarious.... except for those stupid big denny articles, I wouldn't read those unless I had a gun to my head.
