I'm trying to learn some new math concepts
to help improve my game a little, is there any concepts
or theories you would recommend?
I'm understanding the C formula now, although
some guys put so much of those togheter its impossible
to understand what the hell he is doing, and bayes theorem, any other recommendations?

You mean like this one? (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=990725&page=0&view=ex panded&sb=5&o=14&fpart=#990725) You need to understand the inclusion-exclusion principle (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=probability&Number=417 383&Forum=probability&Words=inclusion-exclusion&Match=Entire% 20Phrase&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=1year&Main=4169 81&Search=true#Post417383) for that. That has been referenced many times before, but in this instance I was writing to someone who already understood it. You usually don't need to do the whole inclusion-exclusion principle since you can often get accurate results from just the first term, but it is useful to understand what it is. Be sure to thoroughly understand the concepts of independence and mutually exclusive events first.

Math World is a great reference, but beware of many typos. It makes a better reference for those who already know enough to recognize the typos rather than for a complete beginner. If something doesn't make any sense, it could very well be wrong.
