I could have raised on the turn, but it would not have forced MP2 out.

Re-raise the flop and bet out/re-raise the turn.

I would 3-bet the flop, and bet the turn.

I don't really understand your line. The river ace didn't improve your hand.

Did you lose to AK?

3-bet the flop and lead the turn if MP2 just calls.

The river Ace gave me trip aces with the Q kicker. He had the other Ace with a K kicker.

hence the question, why did you think raising the river was profitable when raising the turn wasn't?

3-betting the turn is crossing the line into overaggressive.

The river doesn't chance anything if you thought you were beat. The bet is fine, the 3-bet is too much.

I thought he might have 2 pair on the turn but that worse case I had him out kicked if he had 3 Aces on the river.

I didn't think I was beat. I thought the 3rd. Ace on the river gave me highest hand with a slight probability of his having the last Ace and an even smaller chance of his having the K kicker to my Q. The amount of $$ in the pot made it impossible for me to release the hand and I thought the odds were strongly in my favor.

What two pair are you putting him on that the river A makes you a winner ... T4?

Like I said before; if you were behind on the turn, you are still behind on the river dispite the fact that you improved to trip Aces.

If you felt you were ahead on the turn why didn't you show more aggresion earlier in the hand?
