A QQ hand from tonight. It was a pretty basic heads up hand and I think I played it as well as I could.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, Hero raises, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds, UTG calls.

Flop: (7 SB) 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
SB checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, UTG folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (7 BB) 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

River: (9 BB) 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 11 BB

Should the raise scare me enough to fold?

I'm capping the flop. If SB then bets the turn, I would raise it there too. If SB 3-bets the turn, I would call down.

SB may have a set or a flopped straight, but could also have AT.

You have a very good hand, I see no reason to lay this down. Don't play scared, this will loose you money in the long run. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Thanks for the tip.

Yeah I guess at the time I was more worried about two pair but as I read more about poker I realize that I need to play this stronger.

And in case you're wondering I did lose to a flopped straight. Ah well such is a loose table!
