UB 10/20 (6 handed)

I openraise from the CO with 5 /images/graemlins/heart.gif5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif. BB, a total wacko, calls in the BB.

Flop: 8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif8 /images/graemlins/club.gif

BB bets. I raise. BB 3bets. I call.

Turn: 4 /images/graemlins/club.gif

BB bets. I raise. BB calls.

River: 2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

BB bets. I raise. BB 3bets. I call.

How'd I do?

Any reason not to cap the flop? I'd be tempted to cap the river and see BBs two overcards for 888 K or A high.

allows him to get another bet in on the turn that he probably would have not gotten had he capped.

You did crappy. He had a pair of 7's. Hard to get away from, but you could be laying down a winner to TJ as well.

And the answer is.........

Not sure I like the river raise. At this point I think that even the thickest-headed opponents know you have a pair here (and you are not folding), yet he is still raising...

I dont think you lose much just calling the river here, but I could be wrong.
