Bellagio 15/30 last week. Table is playing way loose pre-flop, with one drunk maniac loosening the whole table, one brand new player who announced that he only likes to play high stakes NL, and one super attractive woman who is making the rest of us sort of generally play stupid. All in all, a great game, but with more than its share of horrible beats all around.

Im UTG+6 with KK. Suits dont matter.

UTG open raises. UTG+1 folds. UTG +2 3 bets. New player (UTG+4 -- the NL guy) makes it *four* bets. UTG +5 folds, and I look down at my KK, shrug my shoulders, and cap it at 5 bets. Folds around to the button, who thinks, and cold calls 5 bets. The blinds fold, so five people see the flop for 5 bets each (total of 26SB).

Flop is 246 rainbow. UTG bets out, UTG +2 calls. NL guy raises, and I think and make it 3 bets. Button thinks a long time, and folds. All others call 3 bets. Four to the turn for 40SB.

Turn is a J, all 4 suits on board. UTG checks, UTG +2 calls. NL guy bets. Fearing both AA and JJ, I just call. Other two players call.

River pairs the deuce. NL bets, I call, and the other two fold.

Comments on every street appreciated. Results to follow.

Seems like a case can be made for raising the turn to force the check callers to call 2 bets and face a 3 bet behind them. The pot is ginormous, and anything you can do to maximize your chances of winning the pot is advised.
I suck at limit, though, so take my advice w/ a grain of salt.

I probably would have raised the turn. Pot is over $600 on the turn, so EP callers are getting 22:1+ to call and see the river

I'm raising the turn.

Yes, raise the turn to maximize chances of winning this monstrous pot.

Be afraid of Ax on the turn instead and RAISE.

I would have raised the turn, and if he 3 bet call. Then go in for three bets on the river if no ace comes. This is highly situational, but with the pot this big if you think you're 25% likely to be the winner at the river (and you're at least that), it's worth a few more bets.

Was this early Friday morn? This game sounds familiar.

The NL guy who 4bet pre-flop, get this, 4-6 off -- and had the audacity to complain to me when the river 2 counterfeited his 2-pair and I dragged the pot. I didnt' respond, other than to count his chips. /images/graemlins/wink.gif One other guy who didnt show claimed to have JJ.

And yes, this happened at about, oh, 3am or so thursday night/friday morning (what is time at the Bellagio??).

JJ would have given him a full house. I'm pretty sure he was lying /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I think he meant it was the guy who folded on the flop.

Follow up question. Was the beautiful girl in the game Russian?

Or, was "Precious" in the game?

Maybe it was Lilly? Asian with lots of cleavage showing?

No. Late 20s, red hair, really pretty, tiny workout clothes. Never did get her name.
