I am planning a trip to Chicago next month, and it occurs to me that I can write the whole thing off if I play poker while I'm there. Where is the best place for mid-limit action? My game of choice these days is $30/60 stud/8, but I like high-only stud and hold'em as well. A good mixed game would be great. Something a shade higher than $30/60 might be workable too. Any suggestions appreciated.

Save your mid-west money, for times when you will be near a GROUND BASED, NON BOAT, NON CRUISING SCHEDULE, fake poker room. Try Greektown in Detroit, or Canterbury, near mall of America.

I play at Canterbury several times a week.
