hold \'em or fold \'em
Don't remember exact stack amounts, but here goes. Six handed NL Hold Em:
-- Action folds around to the button. -- Button raises around 4X BB. -- I'm in the SB w/ AQs. I call. -- SB folds FLOP: 2,K,K I check. Button raises 3/4 the pot. I call. TURN: K I check. Button goes all in. (about 3/4 of my stack) I gotta lay that down, right? I feel he's respresented a pocket pair and now I'm not looking so good. Thoughts? |

Re: hold \'em or fold \'em
You're drawing to six outs. Fold the flop or raise it for FE.
Edit: Unless your A high is good, but who is calling any more streets without improving? |

Re: hold \'em or fold \'em
I can see the PF call in the SB with your hand, but calling a 3/4 pot raise after the flop with two kings on the board? Granted, being on the button its possible he could be playing a range of hand and even trying to steal the blinds aggressively, but you don't have odds to call ESPECIALLY not having a hand. Easy to get away from that.

Re: hold \'em or fold \'em
You called the Flop bet, thinking your hand was good.
If you thought your hand was good, you had to call the turn bet. Personally, I'd dump it after the flop. Oh and by the way, seven outs (the case King). |
