A Common PF Situation That Confuses Me
you have A8s on the button in a 5 or 6 handed game. CO, who is a decent 2+2er, opens. The blinds are unknown. Do you fold or 3bet?
How does your answer change for tight/loose/good/bad blinds, and for different types of CO? |

Re: A Common PF Situation That Confuses Me
The answer is that it probably doesn't matter much. Against a decent player I tend to fold here.
If you have loose blinds that favors just a call. If CO has a PF raise greater than 20% and steal greater than say 50%, then a 3-bet is in order. Particularly if he's bad postflop or has a low WTSD. |

Re: A Common PF Situation That Confuses Me
This is about the line for me with suited aces. I'll 3-bet against the looser raisers, and fold it agains the tighter ones.
