im in CO with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] utg limps, mp limps , i raise,rest fold, they call FLOP Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] checked to me i bet,utg calls,mp folds Turn 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] checked to me ,i check River: cant remember [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img],not a heart or higher than Q he bets ,i fold Basically i cant be arsed betting the turn,he may have a beter hand already, he might cr,he might cr bluff,id rather take the free card on the river,he could be bluffing,but again i cant be arsed, |

I would've played it the same way. It sucks but without having a read on the player, I would fold the river.

with no reads this is about the only way to play it i think. my favorite way would be bet the turn and see the free showdown, but against an unknown we dont know what to expect - a turn c/r, a river donk, etc. and we dont know what we expect to see @ the river - middle pair, a flush or 9high. this pot is small enough that it doesn't hurt to lose it. wait until you have a hand/read to fight over a pot like this i think.
