Your avatar is lumpy.
They're only down because the growth is slowing like a small westbound car hitting a large eastbound bus. Nothing serious. |

Re: Party down 30% on weak earnings projections...hmmmmmm???
We'll just have to pay $4 rake for Party to maintain profit levels. No problem.

Everyone responding like this is an "online poker is doomed" post, please collect your retart badges at the back door.
Party's stock dropped 30% on earning projections. Stock != good player profitability. |

Sounds like the problem really isn't getting new players, but it costs more to keep them there (read reloads, r******k, beanies, etc.) Also it says the new players tend to be more casual who play less often than the core players (less revenue per customer) (read less sharks) -Revenues up 87% year over year -Earnings up 70% -Real money sign ups up 73% -Plan on introducing other currency games -Skins revenue account for 3.6% of Party's revenue, up from 2.3% last year (r*******k whores) -New player sign-ups are as expected, a significant amount outside U.S. -Retention rates (read reload bonuses) and player yields continue to decline (read r********k). -7% of revenue lost compared to prior year due to competitive pressure, they even mention reload bonuses. |
