Default question about little dots on monitor taskbar

I have a question about one of my Dell 2001fp monitors.

I just noticed in the last day or so that on my blue task bar at the bottom of one of my monitors there a some white pin hole sized dots.

The bottom right hand corner has 3 little white dots, the row above it has 2 little white dots and the row above that has 1 little white dot.

I have dual monitors and I have Ultramon installed and the dots are on my taskbar and monitor that doesnt have my clock and programs on it.

Are these dots spiders or whatever you call them. In other words do these mean I am being watched by someone?

I did a virus scan and nothing shows up. Are these dots something I should be worried about? Is there anyway to get rid of them?

Thank you

TC

sounds like pixels are burned out. Check your warranty and see how many will need to be burned out to get a new moniter

I just bought the monitor a few weeks ago. They are just a total of 6 little white dots on my blue taskbar. Do you really think I blew out some pixels so soon?

I was more concerned that I was being spied on, but I will call Dell and ask about the pixels.

Thanx

TC
