Re: Is this particular 5-5 game beatable by me?
there is alot of rebuying because there is usually alot of early all in pre flop stuff (AJ is good enough). Do you think the game is beatable with the high rake and the short buy ins?

Given what you said, I'd guess the game's solidly beatable.
Good luck. --Nate |

Re: Is this particular 5-5 game beatable by me?
i play in a similar underground game in chicago, it is very beatable, a lot of the same situation such as big rake (7 every half hour) and short buyins and PF allins with mediocre hands, its very beatable by any compentent player, you just have the have patience to wait out the maniacs.

Re: Is this particular 5-5 game beatable by me?
probably. providing you are intelligent enough to realize how bad of a question this is to pose.
i think a more apropos question would have been: what is a good basic strategy for beating a 5-5 game against numerous short stacks wielded by donkeys that are loose and agressive with hands except for monsters, which they slowplay to ruin? and for someone "pwning" the 25NL on party, you should know the answer to that already. |
