Bubble play from last nights UB 100+9 20k Guaranteed
Sorry, no hand history.
Hero is CO, stack ~12k. Villain is BB, has me well covered at ~38k. I have only been at the table for a rotation. Villain appears to be doing what he should be, bullying. I have taken down 2 of the last 3 pots. The last one probably looked like a steal, but it wasn't. 300/600/75? It's folded to me and I have TT. I raise to 2000, roughly standard for the level. Folded to BB who quickly pushes. I hesitated for only a moment, then called. Obviously if I'm trying to make the money, it's the wrong play. Equally obvious, I'm not concerned about that. My thought process is roughly as such: 1) F**K! Why did the big stack have to be BB when I'm CO?! 2) If I fold, I can forget about stealing in CO, and I continue on still as a below average stack. 3) This looks like a steal, his range for pushing is fairly wide here. 4) If I win, I'll have a much better better shot at the FT. |
