3-bet. With 99, you want 1, 2, or 5 opponents; you don't want 3 or 4. You can knock out the blinds with your raise, and if an Ace doesn't flop, you'd likely have the best hand.

I 3-bet 99 here. I probably 3-bet 88 in most cases, also. However 22-77 and I'm getting in the dreaded coldcall range.
