Default Review 12 Hands for Preflop Play . . .

Here are 12 hands from two different tourneys. These are the hands where I did not feel comfortable knowing what the correct play was before the flop: fold, push, or something else. So please give me your opinions.

Thanks.

All are $11 SNGs at Party.

Default Re: Review 12 Hands for Preflop Play . . .

Disclaimer: I suck.

Hand 1: I'd make a standard raise to 250-300, though if blinds are going up soon just push.

Hand 2: Standard raise? Call if shorty moves in behind you.

Hand 3: fold. your position sucks.

Hand 4: fold? The blinds are large stacked enough to be able to call a wide array of hands. You're not desperate for blinds. I think there are better spots to steal.

Hand 5: I'm pretty sure this is an auto-push.

Hand 6: I have no idea. I'd probably fold but I think a lot of people would advocate a push.

Hand 7: limps and plays for set value. It's too early to get tricky.

Hand 8: I'd fold? You might be beating him, but a lot of hands behind you could be beating you ... I'm probably wrong.

Hand 9: Standard raise, and you'll take it down most of the time. A push isn't terrible but may induce a "curious call."

Hand 10: Folds. There is a severe short stack. Wait out the bubble or wait for a more premium hand.

Hand 11: Open pushes, and I'm pretty sure this isn't even close.

Hand 12: ditto.

Default Re: Review 12 Hands for Preflop Play . . .

I've only played about 100 sng on party so dont take my word for these hands. Just some oppinion

#1 Id push

#2 Tough, maybe raise 300 and fold if reraised by big stack, though i dont like it very much.

#3 fold

#4 fold

#5 Push

#6 Fold

#7 Would probably try for a flop here. Pushing might be good too.

#8 Fold

#9 Push away

#10 Looks like cupahearts want to take ladyjames on his own.I dont like this spot, if you push and cupahearts has a calling hand you'll be out, so maybe calling is right here.

#11 Why not push. You got lots of folding equity.

#12 I would push again for the same reason.

Yeah, whoops, misread the blinds on Hand 1. Thought you were at Level 3, not 4. Easy push.

Too many hands in one thread! Post them like 1 at a time, but not all at once so people won't get upset!

Eyeback, out of curiosity, you like pushing w/ 15xBB? Could be right, but seems like problematic risk/reward ratio. Thoughts?

Ahh, I missread the lvl Tought it was lvl5. In lvl4 this is tougher and perhaps a standard-raise would be best.

LOL. Last time I posted them one at a time, someone complained that I should put them in one post. Perhaps next time I'll post fewer.

Tell you what, I'll edit down the post. Maybe that will entice more replies.

My edit time has expired. I can't win for losing. Just like when I play!
