Re: Payouts at the Derby
The question is, did anyone accurately predict the superfecta, and if so, how much did they bet?

Re: Payouts at the Derby
If someone DID NOT hit the super, then the payout would have said...
10-18-4-all Which indicates that anyone with the first three right split it. Since it listed it as it did, at least one person hit it. jw |

Re: Payouts at the Derby
a $2, 20-horse superfecta box would have cost "only" $232,560.

Re: Payouts at the Derby
right, of course, you get the finish to be bellamy road, afleet alex, bandini, high fly and you end up with <1K on your 200K investment.

[ QUOTE ]
The question is, did anyone accurately predict the superfecta, and if so, how much did they bet? [/ QUOTE ] the superfecta handle for the Derby was $7,422,552.00, minus a 19% takeout. odds of hitting it was 864253.50 to 1, so the total amount of the entire pool that wagered correctly was...7 dollars. whether it was 7 different people with $1 boxes, 1 guy with a $7 box, or anything in between, we may never know. |
