Re: For Posterity
Whoops. That stinks man, you must have been pissed when the flop hit.
FWIW, in a home tournament last weekend I raised with 72o UTG during the rebuy period, flopped two pair, and took a guy's stack who had QQ. The look on the faces at the table when I turned that over was priceless. So I can only hope the button was just assuming he'd take it down PF. |

Re: For Posterity
Wow. I take back every time I've said I had a bad beat in the past. They are nothing compared to this.
It is pretty f'ing funny if you look at it objectively though. |

Re: For Posterity
Cut in on the Button's House.
Two young guy's in teeshirts sit at a computer. The one sitting in front of it has his hand on the mouse. On the screen we see an online poker game, which has become all the rage in suburbia. Young Guy Two (not playing): That's the worst possible starting hand. Young Guy One: I bet you $50 I can win this hand with it. Young Guy Two: You're on. Young Guy Two pulls out his wallet and slaps two twenties and a ten on the desk next to the computer. Young Guy One quickly clicks the mouse twice just before his time expires on the screen. Young Guy Two: That's BULLSUGAR! They're not going to call that all in bet. Young Guy One: I just said I'd win the ha...oh SUGAR! Two callers?!?! Young Guy Two: Hahaha, Aces and Kings! Give me my fifty bucks... |
