Please take it easy on me if I did anything wrong here. You guys beat me up pretty good on my JJ post. I'm new to shorthand and I'm new to posting hands.

No reads on these guys, BB in particular. I just started playing on the table and haven't seen enough to know his style of play.

Paradise Poker 1/2 Hold'em (4 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero raises, 1 fold, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: (3 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, SB folds, BB calls.

River: (7 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Final Pot: 9 BB

Results in white:
 Hero bet $8, collected $17.25, net +$9.25 (showed hand) [ Qs Ks ]
(two pair, kings and queens)
BB lost $8 [ Ah 3h ] (a pair of aces)

I bet the flop (opponents are more likely to fold to a continuation bet if you do it when you hit, too). Then lead the turn and river. Unless the villain is very agressive, in which case I might try to check raise the turn to try to keep him off me in the future.

Couldn't this cause a fold and thus I lose more action?

Or they could call and you get more value. And you don't give them infinite odds or let them pick up a profitable draw. Also you're going to be betting alot when you miss so you need to bet when you hit.

bet the flop, if the flop was rainbow you can make a valid argument for checking it through to let that ace or weaker two pair draw but you dont want to give someone a flush for free, or even let them pick up a flush draw.

Bet the flop! Why are you always cheking them through?! People are waiting for you to do continuation bet even if you don't have anything. They will call.... heck, you might even get raised so you can 3-bet.

But please, start betting these flops.

Didn't see OP's previous hand/s but others are intimating that he checks through a lot.

This flop HAS to be bet.

OP should read more threads around here to continue to learn that aggression can be your friend.
Also should probably read SSHE by Ed Miller.

PLEASE bet. They will call you so much more then you think with so much less then you think.
