Dennis no longer has the equipment to do the scallop inlays.

He may reassess the demand for that but that isn't likely to happen very soon.

Personally, I'd love to see them add a 6*2 narrow spot like those fantasy Le Cove $500 chips. That'd be hot. Not $3k hot, but hot.

Okay I don't want to beat this to death, but on the topic of deeper edge marks. Go to this link and scroll down to "casino inlaid chips". Doesn't the white chip seem to have pretty deep edge marks. I realize if the guy says he can't, then he can't, but someone was asking for a pic of this. Sorry I don't know how to add an image to my post. Thanks again for all the hard work that's been done on this.

The depth of the spots on the 3*1 is actually deeper than the 4*2. But you can't make the 3*1 any more shallow and for sure you cannot make the 4*2 any more deep. Hope that helps.

(This is to the best of my understanding, btw.)

I don't want to be a pain, because I know that everyone is working hard on this project. But:

I was told that there would be no $500 chips for this set.

Why will there not be any $500 chips, I thought that these were one of the more focal chips (and one of my favorites) in the movie, and on the mockups. They are also quite essential for my tournaments. I am not complaining, just inquiring, and wondering if it was because of the colors or the '5' edgespots are not possible. If this is the case, could we change the design to make a $500 chip possible. I would really like the $500's if possible. These are much more practical for most of us than the "5K's" If we can't get the $500 chips, I will just use the 5K's as 500's. I don't like this idea, but it may have to work.

I don't want this to deter me from buying some, but it is a serious bummer for me anyway.
Please help re-implement the $500 chip. Thanks.

I would agree with this, I would like some of the $500 chips. They def have more practical use than the 5k chips.

Ok everyone, this is a false alarm. I spoke with Phillip. THere will be $500 denom chips. There WILL NOT be any $5,000 chips for this set.

My misunderstanding came from a typo when I sent my order in, and I was told the $500 chips would not be made (I sweated this out all day, and tryed to reconfigure my order, whew am I relieved. I think the $500 chips are great looking, and look forward to them)

Sorry about the scare, or uproar I have created.

Okay everyone here it is. Right from the horses mouth. No more rumors.

The price will be .95 per chip for orders.
Shipping is $10.00 per 700 chips USPS Priority Mail.

The price will be good until 13th of Feb. I will send you a Paypal invoice by the 20th LATEST!(Paypal only no acceptions!)Any payments not received within 2 days after the paypal invoice is sent will be cancelled.

After the 13th. no orders will be taken and you must wait until the final release of the chips. Price will be around 1.25 each. There may be another pre-sale if I have time to get around to it (I am trying to make a page for preorders if I get around to it. www.acepokerchipcompany.com Should be up soon!) . I am sorry for all the rules, but I am trying to get my website up and trying to do so many things to focus too much on this.

Dennis has now changed the process time. It is now 8 weeks. For those who are willing to wait, place the order!

Dennis is asking all of you to stop calling him and to direct the questions through me! Please DO NOT PM me, but email me direct.

He cannot have a final draft of the chips and here is the final makeup.

.25("25 with the cent symbol"- Light orange\w 3 dark blue moon spots.
$1-Dark Blue w 2 white edge spots 6&12 o clock
$5-Red w 3 Light Blue edge spots 10/2/6 o clock
$25-Green w 4 light orange (same as the .25 body color) edge spots 12/3/6/9 o clock.
$100-Black w 4 signal green edge spots 12/3/6/9 o clock.
$500-purple w 5 yellow edge spots.
$1000-yellow with 4 double edge spots (dark blue and gray)

1$ dark blue with 2 edge spots...boooooo!

You heard it here, two edge spots at 6 and 12 will not look good. This should be three white edge spots like the first mock ups.
