Default Turned a wheel, but I\'m still scared for some reason

100 NL on Pacific, villain is new to the table. Hero is in the BB with 55, with 6 total seeing an unraised flop of ...

2 3 4 rainbow (~$6 in pot)

It gets checked around to LP who bets $2, Hero calls, and Villain calls.

Turn: Ace
Hero checks, gets checked around (LP checked quickly)

River: 7 (~$10)
Hero bets $7, Villain min-raises, LP folds, Hero calls

Should I be betting this turn? Did I play this scared (worried about 56)? Should I 3-bet the river and fold to a raise?

Note that 56 beats you before the seven comes. Bet the turn, bet the river, and three bet. At this point, you're probably stack committed anyway and I suspect the villian has something like A7.

Since you checked the turn, he might be trying to value bet 88-TT

bet flop, bet turn, bet river would be a nice line. Er, 56 was made on the flop, so given the action, very doubtful that anyone has that hand.

Bet or check-raise this flop. Then bomb that turn. All-in on the river. A set or two pair is coming along for the ride.

As played, the river helps no one. You already lose to 56 before the river 7. Since you have 2 of the 5's, I like the 3-bet push here. A lot of 2nd best hands will look you up.

It's a 4 card wheel on the board in a limped pot... maybe I'll give you a set. Unless this guy is a complete retard he's not raising your river bet without you guys chopping I don't think.

Why? Hero has second nuts with 2 of the 4 cards needed for the mortal nuts. Why call if you have the best hand? If he folds what have I lost?

Any set, A2, A3, A4, A7, KK or QQ. With the min raise he is telling you he doesn't believe you have the 5. So what if I fold out everything else? I give myself a chance to win more by pushing.

Putting villain on one hand (56) is seeing monsters under the bed.
