Can you cash a personal check at a hotel/casino

So my 82 year old grandmother is in Vegas right now, and got her wallet stolen at the Orleans casino.
I am FedExing her her old ID so that she won't have a problem boarding the plane back to NY, and I might need to send her some money also. Obviously Wireing would be most secure, but since I am sending an insured FedEx anyway I thought it might just be easier to throw a check in.

Will they cash it for her??

They will only cash the check if it's in her name and her signature is on it.

Otherwise, you could use Western Union. There is a branch located at the Orleans main cage.

FedEx won't insure it, but I know plenty of people who have sent cash in FedEx envelopes -- as long as you are only sending a couple of hundred, avoid the hassle and send cash.

A couple of hundred in a FedEx should be fine. I have done it a couple of times without a problem. Hopefully Al and his gang will find the perp and kick him in the nuts!!!!

Turns out she had all her credit cards seperate, so she'll be ok with money. Thanks for the replys.
