Re: Party Blackjack - end of an era
NL,
You must change your BJ style from WEAK-PASSIVE to TIGHT-AGGRESSIVE. These Diablo posts are a good resource, study them. Through discipline and careful application of the TIGHT-AGGRESSIVE BJ STYLE you will soon be playing at -.5% expectancy. |

NLfool, Are you serious? [/ QUOTE ] yeah it's in my blood. Dude I'm asian and if you go to the casinos around here you'd have to conclude that something in their blood makes them gamble (easily 80%+ in the california games are asian). Oh yeah I go by feel and surprisingly everyday I've played BJ I've been up at some point. I really can't keep this sh!t up as it's preventing me from moving up plus I keep playing less and less poker every month. |

Re: Party Blackjack - end of an era
We should start a collection for Diablo to play blackjack, because I always enjoy his posts on the subject. I would never play myself though as I would probably develop a gambling problem and it's -EV.

Re: Party Blackjack - end of an era
Quick aside: that Wizardofodds chart says to Surrender 16 against a 9-A and 15 against T and A. It also says to surrender 17 against an ace showing (!). Are these surrenders less -EV than the alternatives?

Diablo,
These .5/1 hands have me cracking up. Well done. Don't you have anything better to do with your time? Like be awesome at poker and kill bad guys? |

Re: Party Blackjack - end of an era
shaniac,
Yes, but make sure you are using the right chart - he has charts for different numbers of decks/rules/etc. Having said that, I never surrender, 'cause that's just WEAK. |
