At least two places have a poker lesson on weekday mornings, the Luxor and Excalibur. I don't know the details, but it's cheap and lasts an hour or so which should get you in the swing of things.

I think the Excalibur is better overall, but it really shouldn't matter which poker room you choose on the strip. Players are bad and fairly nice, dealers are nice and fairly good, and there are so many low limit games that if you sit down where no one's laughing or the staff treats you bad, you're five minutes or less from another room.
