Whats up with Stars disconnects?

Every night for the past week it seems like I get atleast 2 disconnects per hour. Its getting frustrating.

I can't even connect. It worked the first time I used it, a week or so ago, but ever since it doesn't work. I click and click and click on the icon, but it won't open up. All the other poker sites work, party, FT, royal vegas.

I have yet to have a single disconnect from Stars.

there was a major upgrade. maybe you got a corrupt file or something

if you are high-speed, just reinstall. stars installs fast

I had connection problems last night with Stars while Party was running fine. Today it was fine though.

I just had my 6th disconnect tonight in 2 1/2 hours.

I can log in but can't use any of the cashier functions. The buttons are dead.

Anyone have this problem?

It happened immediately after the ugrade. Guess I'll uninstall and try again.

Its been working fine all week for me. IIRC there was a message in the lobby saying that there were issues with some ISPs in North America that were dropping the connection to Stars.

I second that. I used to disconnect a couple of times per hour but that stopped about the time of the upgrade. So I find the corrupt file theory very believable

Must be the case. I was in a tournament the other night and it kept disconnecting every 5 or 6 hands. Everything else was working on my machine (trillian, party, etc) but Stars was disconnecting. Its very frustrating.
