Default Should I have raised more?

I'm gonna beat my head against the monitor...
What was the correct way to play this hand?
Obv. I coulda raised preflop but I knew someone would do that for me. I wanted to raise the pot enough to where I would get paid if AK didnt come or lay my hand down if it didnt. Any input I appreciate.

Default Re: Should I have raised more?

When the action makes it back around to you on the flop, there is t230 in the pot (assuming I added correctly). I think conventional wisdom says to essentially reraise the total of the original raise plus the pot (i.e., 60+230=290). That's kinda the general guideline that I follow and probably would have made it about 300 to go.

So, no, I don't think that you raised too little. If anything your raise normally would discourage any action for your great hand, so you might tone it down a little next time.

You got donked, that's all. You got exactly what you wanted , planned, and hoped for. It just didn't work out in the end.

Next time just make your standard pf raise with QQ and hope someone comes over the top. Limp RRing with QQ during the first 4-5 levels of any tourney is just asking for trouble.
