Default Hold Em Rules

When I play live there is often disagreement about where the button, SB & BB move when someone gets knocked out (including when it moves to HU). I have seen 3 solutions and have no idea which is correct (1-button moves, 2 blinds move, 3-both blinds and button move so that everyone pays both blinds and no one is ever the button more than once). Does anyone know or preferably have a link to the official Hold'Em rules as I can't find anything that gets into this level of detail for Hold Em. Thanks

Default Re: Hold Em Rules

I find Robert's Rules of poker to be well organized and easy to read. This is Bob Ciaffone's collection of rules.

POKER RULES

It explains moving button vs moving blind. Or is it dead button dead blind. Heck I don't know what to call it it just says how to do it.

I need to drop a copy of this off for all the lame tourney directors in my town.
