Not having a read on SB is fishy, the rest of the hand looks ok.

I think pondering that this hand could might be standard is a huge leak. There are several problems with it.

Nice to see you've joined the elite of posters who think it's okay to say that there are problems without saying what they are, why they are problems, and what you should do instead. You're really cool now .

Seriously, this kind of post is just not helpful. If you've got something useful to say, say it. Otherwise, why not just move on without posting?

This has been a public service announcement from someone who preferred 2+2 in 2000.

Guy.

I see a lot of different ways to play this hand, but I don't see the way it was played as obviously mistaken. Specifically I don't see capping pre-flop as a requirement. Maybe I'm leakier than I thought.

You are more of a troll than me now. And it was 2003/04 that the forum was at it's best...

I agree. I doubt capping PF adds much value here without knowing more about SB's 3-betting standards. Yes, Hero has position but there are many players in the Stars $5/$10 game that will only 3-bet with a hand that has you in serious trouble.

See King Yao's book for an excellent example (p.160).

There is a great deal of _advice_ on the forum which is only relevant to $10/$20 and above, a LOT, being dished out for limits where 3-bets need to be considered more carefully.
