Default The Blue Planet - Documentary Suggestion

The Blue Planet - Seas of Life

8 different hour long parts on this documentary about ocean life. If you are interested in nature, and believe in the saying "truth is stranger than fiction" I cannot recommend this highly enough. It will blow you away.

The episode "The Deep" is awesome. Lakes on the bottom of the ocean, gulper eels, deep-sea sharks...

I'll check this out. If you like nature documentaries, I recommend Microcosmos.

I just watched that episode . It's amazing, all those sea creatures look like aliens.

If you liked it, you'll probably also like "Aliens of the Deep", a James Cameron documentary that came out a while ago. Kind of cheesy, but definately interesting.

Have there been any new ones since like 4 years ago? All the ones I've seen have been excellent.

I have this - it's wonderful. There's things in this that are so amazing, I couldn't believe they were real when I first saw them.

For those of you with children 7+, this is an excellent watch for them if they like biology/animals.
