Not only do I do that, but I also do the obligatory macerena on top of the table. Drives the ladies wild.

That's at least two people sitting at your table who didn't hear your call (and at least one who didn't hear the original bet).

Yes, protect your cards, but protect your action, too. When I call an all-in bet, everyone at the table knows it. A few people at the next table know it, as well.
